How to Request
The Trust accepts Letters of Inquiry (LOIs) on a rolling basis. Please refer to eligibility requirements below. If you believe your project or organization meets these requirements, email your LOI to pasoperatrust@gmail.com with the subject line: LOI – Organization Name: Project Name (Month Year)
Organizations selected to move forward will be invited to submit a full application. Applicants who are not selected may submit a new Letter of Inquiry after one calendar year.
What We Fund
Funding priorities include:

Opera productions, concerts, recitals, and competitions

Opera education and youth outreach programs

Training and career development for emerging singers and composers

Community initiatives that increase access to opera and classical vocal arts
Who We Serve
Funding recommendations may be made for:

Opera companies
-
Educational institutions and programs
-
Nonprofit arts organizations
-
Individual singers and composers
-
Collaborative community arts projects
Qualifications
Applicants should:
-
Operate primarily within the greater Pasadena area
-
Demonstrate alignment with PAOT's mission
-
Have at least two years of organizational history (where applicable)
-
Demonstrate artistic excellence and meaningful community impact
