The Pasadena Area Opera Trust (PAOT) is a charitable and educational trust dedicated to preserving, promoting, and advancing the art of grand opera throughout the Pasadena region.

 

Since 1972, PAOT has invested in the future of opera by providing financial support for local productions, educational initiatives, and the training of exceptionally talented young singers and composers. Through strategic grantmaking, we help ensure that opera remains a vibrant and accessible part of our community for generations to come.

 

Most notably, PAOT proudly funds the awards presented through the annual Pasadena Vocal Competition, helping launch the careers of tomorrow's operatic artists.
